Originally from Washington DC, Jennifer attended The Washington Ballet School for ten years under the guidance of Mary Day before attending NYU for photography. After graduating with a BFA, she worked as a photo director of magazines such as Jane, NY Magazine, Martha Stewart and Conde Nast Traveler. She has taught photography classes at Parsons, mentored teens for various art organizations and taught dance to 4th graders at PS 153 in Brooklyn.
During her career as a photo editor, Jennifer has continued to take ballet class at Mark Morris, Gibney and Peridance with various teachers such as David Howard, Giada Ferrone and David Levinthal. In 2015, she began practicing the GYROTONIC® method and became a teacher in 2023. She has completed GYROTONIC® Level 1 and Level 2 as well as GYROTONIC® for Dancers Level 1.
